AI companion tutorial

Ask for a Weekly Reflection

Request a read-only look at a local seven-day window and understand what the companion includes and leaves out.

Use Reflect on my week on the goals card or send /week in your private chat when you want a short review. It is generated only after you ask; it does not send itself as a weekly report or change your records.

Request the reflection

Open My goals and tap Reflect on my week, or send `/week`. The companion replies in your selected language when that language is supported. Ask when you are ready for a reflection; the request sends selected recent conversation and dated records to the AI provider to write it.

What it can include

The reflection window is seven local days. The companion may provide recent conversation turns, goal steps completed during the window, habit check-ins recorded in that period, notes you saved as wins, and the title of your current focus plan. A saved win note is dated when it was recorded, which can differ from when the event happened.

Habit check-ins are your reports, not independent verification. A Not today report or no report does not prove that you failed or skipped a routine. A focus-plan title is an intention, not proof of progress.

Understand its limits

The reflection is read-only conversation. It does not create or edit a goal, habit, reminder, fact or memory. It does not use older summaries, saved facts, unrelated active goals or planned check-ins to fill gaps in the week. It should not infer an event from missing information.

If the response is unavailable, try again later or use the normal chat for a smaller question. Access checks, service pauses and shared message limits can prevent a response. Do not send `/week` repeatedly while a request is still processing.

Privacy and safer notes

The conversation turns and selected records supplied for this request are processed by DeepSeek to produce the reflection. Habit titles and notes, saved win notes, and a focus-plan title can be included, so keep those entries short and non-sensitive. The reflection filters some crisis or sensitive references; still avoid relying on this summary for health, legal or financial decisions.

Use /memory to review stored facts, /export for your data copy, or /forget to remove companion records. These controls have different effects: the reflection itself does not erase the source conversation or change stored records.
