A focus plan records an intention for the next 7 or 30 days and gives you one place to review it. It takes about two minutes to start. Open @armoredkitten_bot in your private Telegram chat and tap My goals.
Start a plan
Open My goals from the companion's bottom menu and choose Focus plan. Select 7 days or 30 days, then send a short title for what you want to focus on. The saved card shows the plan and its end date.
For example, “Practice guitar after dinner” is a clear intention. The focus plan records what you chose; it does not prove that you completed it. You can keep using goals, habits and the daily checklist alongside a focus plan.
If you change your mind while entering the title, send /cancel. The prompt ends without saving a plan.
Understand how the title is used
Keep the title non-sensitive. The companion may use it to personalize your opted-in daily note and your /week reflection. Those features process the title with the relevant request to the AI provider. The title is encrypted at rest, appears in /memory, is included in /export, and is removed when you use /forget.
The plan title is a statement of intent, not a completion record. Weekly reflections use the title as your stated focus and should not treat it as evidence that you worked on or achieved the plan.
Change or end a plan
Open My goals and return to Focus plan to manage the current plan. The card lets you edit the title, pause or resume the plan, mark it done, or delete it. Pause the plan when you want to keep it without treating it as active. Delete it when you no longer want the plan stored.
If a button is stale or the card looks out of date, reopen the plan from My goals. If you need to remove companion records, /forget is broader than deleting a focus plan: it erases your companion profile and stored history as well.
If you cannot open the plan
Start the private chat with @armoredkitten_bot, then use /goals to reopen your goal card. If the companion says access is paused, follow the access message; making a plan does not change account eligibility. The bot may also be temporarily unavailable when its shared daily budget is exhausted, so try again later.
