Use My goals to turn something you care about into a goal and manageable next steps. You can also explain what you want in your own words in the private chat. Allow about two minutes for the first goal.
Create a goal
Tap My goals in the private chat, then choose Set a goal or New goal. You can instead write a normal message such as “I want to get comfortable speaking Spanish.” The companion may ask why the goal matters or suggest a first step. You choose what to save; correct or decline suggestions that do not fit.
Make the outcome specific enough to recognize. “Practice Spanish for ten minutes after lunch” is easier to act on than “be better at languages.” Avoid sensitive details in goal titles and reasons. Saved goals are encrypted at rest and appear in /memory and /export; /forget removes the companion's stored records.
Add and follow steps
Ask the companion to break a goal into steps, or request one small next action. The companion can save up to eight steps for a goal at a time. The first step is intended to take less than 15 minutes. Open My goals to see the current steps and their status. The card shows up to eight open-step buttons at once.
When you do a step, tap its ✅ button. The card refreshes to show the updated list. A tap records your report; it does not verify the activity independently. If a step is no longer right, explain what changed and ask to adjust the goal or steps.
Revise or pause a goal
Tell the companion when the goal, timing or next step has changed. You can ask it to update the plan, mark a goal done, pause it or drop it. Check My goals afterwards to confirm the saved status. Completing or pausing a goal does not erase its history.
If a card is old, use My goals again to load the current card. If the companion's daily message allowance or shared service budget is unavailable, wait and try again later; that does not undo saved goals.
Goals are planning aids, not scores or proof of success. Choose steps that feel manageable and change them when they stop helping.
