Choose when an optional daily message arrives and what it contains. These settings control the private morning note. They do not change a scheduled follow-up, a task reminder, a conversation starter or a feature-discovery tip.
Set your time
Open Settings in the private chat and choose the displayed daily time. Enter a 24-hour time such as `09:00` or a 12-hour time such as `7:30am`. The default is 9:00 a.m. Use the time zone shown on the Settings card; a time without the intended zone can arrive at the wrong local hour.
The companion validates the hour and minute before saving. If it rejects the entry, send a time in one of the shown formats and check the time zone. You can open Settings again to confirm the saved value.
Choose what the message contains
In Settings, tap the daily-content control. Choose Encouragement + story, Encouragement only, or Story only. The format is saved separately from the on/off choice. Daily messages must be enabled for a scheduled message to be sent.
Story formats use a reviewed story with a source link. Country preference can affect which story is selected. If a story is not available for a send, a story-only message may be skipped rather than inventing a story.
Check the schedule and controls
Reopen Settings to check the selected time, time zone, content format and whether daily messages are enabled. The schedule follows the saved time zone, including its clock changes. If you change zones or move, review the displayed local time before the next send.
Use Pause daily messages to stop the scheduled notes or enable them again when ready. Pausing does not cancel separate check-ins, checklist reminders, conversation starters or feature tips. For setup and pause steps, see turn daily messages on or off.
