Checklist reminders are optional nudges about unfinished items in today's private list. They are separate from daily companion notes, conversation starters, check-ins and feature tips. Reminder text reports a count and progress; it never includes task names.
Enable reminders for today's list
In your private chat with @armoredkitten_bot, send /today. Review today's tasks and choose Turn on reminders at the bottom. If no time zone is set, choose the time-zone control and enter a supported zone before trying again; reminders follow your local date and quiet hours.
The companion confirms the change and shows the current reminder status. Reminders are off until you enable them. Turning them on does not turn on daily notes, conversation starters or tutorial tips.
For adding, completing or removing tasks, see manage today's checklist.
What a reminder contains
The scheduler can send one reminder in each of four local-time windows: 09:00, 13:00, 17:00 and 20:00. It may send fewer or none. It skips a slot if its short delivery window has passed, the list is empty or fully complete, access or service checks fail, or recent safety and outreach conditions say to wait. A reminder reports how many tasks remain and your completion percentage, then links back to today's list. Task titles are not included in reminder messages.
The same slot is not intentionally sent twice. If Telegram's delivery result is uncertain, the companion records that outcome rather than blindly retrying a message that may already have arrived.
Pause reminders without deleting tasks
Open /today and choose Pause reminders. The bot confirms the pause and refreshes the checklist. Your tasks and completion states remain available; pause only affects future checklist nudges. You can enable them again from the same checklist.
If the control says a time zone is needed, set it through Settings or the offered time-zone button. If a reminder does not arrive, check that reminders are on, the local time is within a delivery window, at least one task is unfinished, and your account still has access. A missed reminder does not remove a task or mean the list failed to save.
To stop another message type, pause its own control. Daily messages, conversation starters, and feature tips have separate settings.
