Understand companion access and the free trial

Check which access path applies, understand configurable trial and holder rules, and recover from balance or service pauses.

The bot checks the access path shown for your account. A trial, wallet-holder check, or supervised beta can have different limits; the current bot prompt and Settings are the source of truth.

Follow the access path shown to you

The companion can be configured for email verification, a free trial, a $ARMORED balance requirement, or an invite-only beta cohort. New accounts may need to verify an email and link a wallet before the bot offers an available trial. Supervised beta accounts may use different setup and daily limits. Follow your private bot prompts rather than assuming every account has the same route.

Linking a wallet is a free ownership-message signature. It is not a token payment and does not itself guarantee ongoing access.

Understand trial timing and limits

When a trial is enabled and your account qualifies, the bot shows its configured length, end time and daily message allowance. Trial eligibility is limited per Telegram account, email and wallet. A previous trial is not reset by deleting companion data with `/forget`.

Use the date and remaining-message information shown by the bot. If you believe the displayed status is wrong, reopen the private chat and wait for the latest check before taking another step.

Understand wallet-holder access

When wallet-holder access applies, the service checks the linked wallet's public $ARMORED balance against its configured USD threshold. The first access check and ongoing retention may use different thresholds to prevent access flicker. Prices and configuration can change, so the exact current requirement shown by the bot is authoritative.

An invitation or gift email does not replace the recipient's own setup and access check. Only link the wallet you control. Never buy a token just to keep access to a community tool.

Recover from a pause or unavailable check

If a balance provider or companion service is temporarily unavailable, the bot may pause a new check or show a short service message. Try again after the bot indicates the check is available. If your access pauses after a balance change, review the linked wallet and the latest requirement in the private chat. Use /verify to relink only if you control the wallet and the bot offers that step.
