Email verification confirms the address used for companion access and certain account flows. Enter an address you can open, then submit the short-lived code in the same private Telegram chat.
Enter the address
Use the email prompt shown by @armoredkitten_bot in your private chat. Check spelling before sending. Do not put a password, wallet recovery phrase, or private key into the email field.
Some service configurations may skip this step or present it at a different point. Follow the prompt shown for your account; the companion does not need you to post your address in a public group.
Find and enter the code
Look for a verification email from the sender displayed in the bot's instructions. Check the spam or junk folder and search for “Armored Kitten” or “verification”. Send the six-digit code back in the same private chat within 15 minutes of issue.
If the bot rejects the code, check that you copied all six digits from the newest email and that the code has not expired. Request another code through the prompt and use only the newest message. Avoid repeatedly guessing; wait for the bot's response if it applies a temporary limit.
If no email arrives
Confirm that the address is spelled correctly and that your mailbox can receive new mail. Check spam, promotions, and filtered folders, then use the bot's available resend or restart instruction. A second email may take a short time to arrive. Do not ask someone else to share their code.
If the setup remains stuck, use `/start` to return to the private bot and follow its current prompt. For the next setup step, see wallet linking. You can also open `/tutorials` from the chat to find other help.
