Use a story in an optional daily message as a small example to reflect on, and open its source when you want to check the underlying facts. Reading a story does not change your goals, settings, or story preferences.
Find the source
Stories are included only when the daily-message format allows them. If a message contains a source link, tap it to open the cited article or reference in Telegram's browser or your default browser. You can return to the bot when you're done. The companion does not claim that a link was read just because it was sent.
If there is no story or source link, there may not be an eligible story for that message. A story-only message can be skipped rather than filled with an invented example. You can still use the encouragement portion if your format includes it.
Separate sourced details from the takeaway
The source supports the story's factual details. The short takeaway is the companion's own reflection on why the example might be encouraging. It is not a quotation, a promise that the same outcome will happen to you, or professional advice. Famous-person stories may be skipped when recent chat messages indicate a crisis, to avoid inappropriate motivational framing.
For decisions that affect your health, money, safety, or legal rights, check reliable sources and qualified people rather than relying on a motivational example.
Choose a country preference
Open Settings and choose Set my country if you want the story rotation to prefer examples tagged for a particular country. The companion asks you directly; it does not infer your country from your wallet or location. Send Skip to use stories from everywhere. The preference changes story selection, not your account eligibility or the messages you have enabled.
To choose a different time or message format, see daily time and format. To hide an individual story or restore hidden stories, use story preferences.
