Use /memory to inspect companion records and the separate saved-facts card. You stay in control of saved facts: you can page through them, view an available source message, replace one fact, or confirm deletion of one fact.
Inspect saved facts and their sources
Open the private chat with @armoredkitten_bot and send /memory. The card lists saved facts with an ID and date. It may show a Source button for the user message that was linked when the fact was saved. The full memory view also summarizes account settings and companion records; it is private and can contain sensitive details, so avoid sharing or forwarding it.
Use Previous and Next to browse fact pages. If there are no saved facts, the card says so. A fact without a Source button has no linked source message available in the card. Opening the source shows that message from your private chat; it does not change or delete it.
Correct or remove one fact
Tap Correct beside the fact you want to change. The bot asks for replacement wording. Send a short, accurate correction as a new message; the saved fact is updated and linked to your correction. If you change your mind before sending, use /cancel to leave the pending edit. The old source message remains in chat history.
To remove just one saved fact, tap Forget next to it and review the confirmation prompt. Tap 🗑 Yes, forget this detail to proceed or Cancel to keep it. The card then refreshes. This action removes the saved fact record; it does not delete the source conversation, other facts, goals, tasks, account settings, or all companion data. Read privacy and data controls before sharing the memory view.
If a fact is missing or the edit is stale
If the bot says a fact is unavailable, it may have been removed or changed after the card was opened. Send /memory again and select the current item. If an edit prompt is still open but you no longer want it, send /cancel. If a correction did not appear, reopen /memory to check the current saved value before trying again.
Single-fact deletion is different from /forget. The full /forget flow displays a separate summary and asks you to confirm deletion of companion account data. Use it only when you intend to clear that data. Telegram chat history and records held by external providers follow their own retention controls; the bot cannot erase those by removing a saved fact. See privacy and retention and forget all companion data.
